No one else

I don't know how, but other people don't seem to have this panty-line problem that I have.  Should I really be wearing granny-panties?  Am I the only person still wearing underwear? Because it seems I'm the only one that has a panty-line.  Am I the only person having this turmoil run through my head?  I THINK NOT!  I think there are a lot of people out there that just care not to share their talents of "hiding the panty line." 

Every time I go to the store I somehow end up in the lingerie department.  These thoughts run through my head each time:
  • Oooo, those are cute!
  • Do they have them in my size?
  • What is my size? 
  • Am I lying to myself, or should I REALLY be THAT size?
  • Maybe I should try a different cut?
  • Maybe I should try a different brand?
  • Does everyone really wear thongs all the time?  I mean, I do wear them, but ONLY when necessary.
  • Should I only be wearing spanks?
Then I inevitably do 1 of 2 things: buy 5 pairs of underwear that are sure to disappoint, or buy nothing at all because I am completely overwhelmed with all the decisions that have to be made.

In the midst of it all

Parenting lately has been a little rough.  I have a toddler, who is cuddly, independent, and stubborn, a daughter who can be helpful, and dramatic when she is hangry and tired, and a Kindergartner who is smart, knows it all, impulsive, and thoughtful.  These personalities make for interesting days, and that's not even mentioning my personality traits (which some would say are a little on the "feeling" side).  And in the midst of it all... Pasta Meatball Bake

This dish is so easy. It took a total of less than 1 hour to put together, bake, and cool off so you can eat it. If you use regular pasta - I would bake it for an extra 5 minutes. My mom passed this recipe on to me and I doctored it a bit.  Ingredients: 1 - 16oz box of pasta (I used Chickpea pasta) 3 cups of water 16 oz. Of frozen meatballs (I used meatless) Sprinkle of salt 1 - 24 oz jar of pasta sauce 5 oz. Spinach Parmesan cheese 2 cups of mozzarella  Fresh Basil or parsley for the top of the dish Recipe : Turn oven to 450.  Spray a 13x9 dish.  Place noodles, water, meatballs, salt, pasta sauce, spinach and just a sprinkle of Parmesan into the dish. Give it a good toss to make sure everything is incorporated.  Cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes. Be sure to give a good stir about every 10 minutes.  Take out and sprinkle on the two cups of mozzarella cheese. Bake an additional 5 minutes, uncovered.  Take out and let sit for at least 5 minut...

Bookends

I've been a Stay at Home Mom (SAHM) for the better part of 8 years. For the sole reason to take care of my babies. To create in them a firm foundation. To be a constant for them.  To be able to serve other mommies while having my own babies. And man have I loved it.  I am a people person and yet a homebody.  I have thoroughly enjoyed having little ones in the house. My wonderful husband has worked so hard to provide for us so that I can stay home. God has provided so abundantly, and for that I am so thankful. When I was growing up I always imagined my dream job being a SAHM, but when I imagined it, the kids were always little babies! They were never older than 4 - in my dreams. And guess what...they grow up! And so do I. My youngest turns 4 in a few weeks. I have decided to go back to work.
